The Air Jordan 1 High “Bred” looks to be the next retro 1 to get the Remastered treatment in the fall of 2016.

The Air Jordan 1 High “Bred” was the shoe that was worn by Michael Jordan during his 1985 rookie campaign and immediately became a game changer. Due to the rules in place at the time, Jordan was allegedly fined $5,000 dollars everytime he wore the sneaker. Jordan was fined $5,000 but there isn’t any proof that MJ ever wore the “Bred” 1’s in an actual game. The Air Jordan 1 “Bred” was designed by Peter Moore.

This classic silhouette features a Black and Red premium leather base, an All-White midsole, a Red Rubber outsole, with Black laces, and Black branding runs throughout the shoe to complete its composition.

The last time we seen the Air Jordan 1 “Bred” was December 28th, 2013.

At this time, the Air Jordan 1 High “Banned” is expected to release September 3rd, 2016 for a retail price of $160 at select Jordan Brand retailers. For the latest updates on this story keep it locked to SW.

December 23rd UPDATE:

The 2016 “Bred” 1’s are expected to actually be the Banned 1’s. For those who are unfamiliar, the most notable difference in the original Bred 1’s and the Banned 1’s is the “X” labeled on the heel.
