Millad Mesriani Shares His Exclusive Air Jordan 1 High OG NRG

Millad Mesriani, a cancer patient, got the chance to design his own Air Jordan 1 with Jordan Brand and the NRG team through the Make-A-Wish Foundation at Nike HQ in Beaverton, Oregon.

Mesriani took instagram and said: “Idk where to start. About 2 years ago, I was diagnosed with a cancer that had never been seen before. Throughout all the physical and emotional suffering, the last thing I wanted was for strangers to feel bad for me just by looking at me. Instead of hiding my bald head under a beanie, I embraced it. I found confidence through my sense of style. As long as I had my new Jordan’s on, everything would be okay. Sneakers and fashion became a way for me to escape the reality of cancer. Now fast forward a few years, I have my own pair of Air Jordan 1s that have never been seen before. This is much more than just a sneaker. To me, this is a symbol of my fight. These sneakers are the literal light at the end of the tunnel.”

This Air Jordan 1 High designed like the classic “Black Toe” colorway and they feature a 3M Reflective base, with Black leather overlays, and Metallic Blue accents hitting the ankle and Nike SWoosh. Other details include an embossed Wings logo and SWord with Metallic Gold Jumpman and SWord hangtags.

At this time, there is no foreseeable release date for Millad Mesriani’s Air Jordan 1 High OG but if there is any change in that status, you will find out on SW.
