Make-A-Wish Patient Designs His Own Air Jordan 4

A lot of times, a Make-A-Wish patient elects to meet a celebrity, not Peyton Smith, a teenage cancer survivor, chose to make his own pair of Air Jordan 4s at Nike HQ in Beaverton, Oregon.

“Today is a very special day because exactly one year ago today I did a once in a lifetime opportunity that was my Make-A-Wish,” Smith recalled. “What I did for my wish due to my passion and love for everything sneakers was to visit Nike Headquarters out in Oregon and design a shoe of my very own; that shoe being an Air Jordan.”

This Jordan 4 almost has the same color blocking as the “Military Blue” 4s as they feature a White leather upper, with Grey, Yellow and Blue accents hitting throughout the upper, Nikes cancer ribbon details the right heel and Nike Air branding lands on the left heel. Other details include ‘AIR PEYTON’ hitting the inner tongues, Peyton’s family served in the Air Force so he moved around a bit, the medial side shows all the places he lived.

Payton Smith’s Air Jordan 4 “Make-A-Wish” wish will likely never release to the public, only 4 pairs were made and hey are exclusive to humans his family.
